Dear members, colleagues, and friends, As the new President of the Lebanese Society of Anesthesia, it is my great pleasure to address you at the beginning of our term. Allow me first to pay tribute to the former president Dr Vanda Abi Raad and the outgoing committee members for their dedication and the remarkable efforts they have made for our society. Their diligent work has laid solid foundations on which we will continue to build.

We are committed to continuing the strategic plan initiated in 2022, focusing particularly on the national recommendations that guide our practice. Continuous improvement of our website remains a priority to better serve our members and facilitate information dissemination. Furthermore, we intend to enrich and diversify our training offerings through scientific days and conferences, which we hope will meet everyone's expectations and contribute to the development of our specialty.
